Vincent COLSON - Senior Business Development Manager

Résumé

After a wide operational career at ExxonMobil, I orientated my career towards Oil & Gas Strategy and International Management.

Since my move to a Crude Trader position at Total, I have enhanced my skills for commercial negotiation, development and enforcement of Agreements with a wide range of customers and competitors, and market intelligence. Later, my experience as Asset Manager and Secrétaire Général has enabled me to become well proficient in financial and organizational optimization as well as in strategy development (Long-Term Plan, Budget, Business Review…). Within that scope I led the economical evaluation of several opportunities, such as the Hazira Terminal development and its Business Model change. These studies were successful milestones in transforming an idle terminal into a key player of India’s Energy Supply and Total’s Portfolio. I also conducted the successful deployment of the CORE project in Dolphin Energy Limited, which was recognized as benchmark for cost optimization in the Middle-East area and led to numerous requests from the other Total’s Joint Ventures for sharing its achievements.

Both my international exposure (Europe, Asia, and Middle East) and my former responsibilities at Qatargas, which encompassed the allocation of around 100 billion US$ per year, have provided me with in-depth knowledge of the Oil & Gas value chain, from a global perspective down to the operational details.

This experience places me in a position to tackle the big challenges of this extremely competitive world.
